Unprepared

Under the dark skies
Her thoughts of why's
The whispers of her cries
Speak the future that lies

Looking up high
She released a deep sigh
With tears in her eye
Pleading to die

A life in her womb
Turned her life to gloom
Her dreams became fume
Afraid of the doom

She kept it a secret
Running towards the exit
Looking like a culprit
Losing her limit

Anxiety filled her thoughts
She held the gun she brought
To use it she was never taught
The trouble she should have fought

She thought it won't mend
It caused her life to end
Unwise she was
Unprepared she is
