HIS WOMAN
There was nothing more to say
He was hers and she was his
A perfect fit from heaven
Let no man put asunder
He had scorned,
What man would fight against forces
Stronger than the stampede of horses
What man wouldn't know
That their love was fierce, terrible as a battalion
Set on to battle
It's fierceness for which men flee
And the ground rattle
The urge to protect his own was stronger,
It was much deeper
He was an alpha, his pack, his home, his woman
He had brought down the heavens,
Gave her the crown to his throne.
"The queen of my heart" he had named her.
She had ruled his life with love, with pride, care and kindness
Defended him against his enemies,
His stronghold, his survival, his woman
She had understood his past, his flaws and fears
Accepted him for today, believed in his future
For she reckoned,
That sufferings of his past were not worthy
To be compared with the glories of his future
This he knew that she knows
For this he loved her more,
As each dawn passes
And dusk kissing goodbye
Always and forever
She will be his woman
