Another Night

When you see each other after a couple of months,
So many things can happen in a night.

That slow dance matching the rythm of the heart.
The stolen kisses from the forehead to the food filled mouth.
The torture of tickles,
To hear the echoes of laughter,
That one dearly longs to hear.

The soul peircing stare,
So vulnerable you understand it went loneliness a thousand square.
The way it savours the glimpse once more.
The long night hugs
The frightened feeling of the shortlived moment.
The coldness of the arms wrapped unconsciously while asleep.

How could a night be enough for two hearts?
Two hearts who have not seen light
When everything has never been right.
How would they need to part?
And struggle each day from a broken heart,
Wishin for another chance,
Wishing for another night!
