POEM: GLASS FORM
Stones share opinions
Jutting out to be heard
The wood lined ceiling
Punctuates their petrified words
Stained glass instructors
Impart their ways
Until they become ours
The lesson stays
Like liberated rays of a static sun
“It is good to document where you are
You won’t remain forever
Let your words give your space
And permanence no man
Nor beast can sever
No jutting tongue
Can pierce with jealousy
So love reveals the absent distance
Within our being”
Stone and cement rise higher
Than a story’s burning smoke
In a place where material is king
We will rise beyond the flesh
And glass shapes
And impart our ways to all beings
