Numbers Man Came Down My Way

This is for all those who have ever worked in an office
environment within a cubicle.

I wrote this many years ago:


Numbers man came down my way.

He said you're doing good

and walked away.


Numbers, statistics,

grids and charts

Buzz, whirr, click

Buzz, whirr, click


My vision blurs

The computer stirs

My coffee grows cold

and somewhere, a dream comes true.
