For once, I wish could be the poem
Instead of the poet I've been.
Rather that forming metaphors on my tongue...

For once, I wish I could be the receiver.
Instead of handing out pieces of heart as
writer, a hopeful lover I seem to be destined to
give as I'm falling apart.

Can I get the same love I’ve been giving ? It’s not so much to ask is it ?
