Yep, just don’t take too long or the portal will close. It's also nice to port out and jump right back to avoid a massive attack if needed.

I only realised about it early morning, first tried on my second scion in pyramid fight as low health haha. Left through a portal about 6 times to manage getting the defeat on the boss, also keeping the scion alive for a win on it! My templar was overtaken, could've kept going but didn't want to risk it hence taking the scion level.
Great write up and slow helps to keep you alive!
The Metamorph is a lot of fun and you can get some good oranges like early on in my duelist!

Also you took the Shadow win as it looks like the other died with theirs.
I only played around a little bit with Metamorph. While it was tempting to run them for some better drops. I’ve seen so many times in the past people get wrecked in a league so I did not want to tempt fate too much.
I’m hoping they tuned them right to drop some nice leveling gear as you level up.
You know the best mechanic to fight them? Kite around and damage, keep doing it, potion up, kill minions it summons for potion charges, kill it off. I did a lot of them in the first few hours, getting some orange pieces stashed for use. I also played about 18ish hours this time around, plenty of breaks and nourishment. :)
I am keen to check out end game stuff on standard non HC though, later in the week after a few days break haha!
