Will GUNZ Be the Web3 Game That Finally Gets It Right?

I've had my own fair share of play-to-earn games that began with a lot of hype and speculation to outperform Axie but most couldn't keep up but i wonder if GUNZ could be different.

This is another battle royale play to earn project with focused on frictionless Web3 integration. It allows players to own assets without putting the blockchain front and center, allowing the game to take center stage. The $GUN token powers the game's economy, allowing players to earn, trade, and upgrade equipment.

With so much anticipation of GUNZ governance token to follow similar trends as AXIE especially as Bitg3t and Binance have shown interest to list, could this really become a game changer? While there is currently a launchpool on Binance, i find some campaigns on Bitg3t to be a better earning opportunity like the $5,000 community campaign, and the BGB holders campaigns since it seems to be easier than Binance launchpool but what could be the impact of these campaigns on the project?

While the hype on this project keeps increasing, i wonder if we could finally see a Web3 game where the focus is on gameplay first and blockchain just works in the background, Or will this be another overhyped experiment?
