With PlayStation Classic, the Japanese company officially enters the market of small retrogaming consoles offering a perfect reproduction of the historic PSone with as many as 20 pre-installed games.
PlayStation Classic will offer a chassis 45% smaller than the original model, with the three buttons Power, Reset and Open that will serve respectively to turn on, save energy and the choice of games to use, while despite the presence of a life-size reproduction of the controller that replicates the same design of the time, you can not use the original models of PSone.
Thanks to the two included controllers (using a USB connector), you can still play local multiplayer in titles that support this feature. A virtual memory card will also allow you to save progress for the 20 pre-installed games, including Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, R4 Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms.
PlayStation Classic will be available for 99.99 euros from December 3, which will mark the 24th anniversary of the historic launch of the original PlayStation on the Japanese market. We will keep you updated as soon as there is more information about the other games included in the pack.

I was thinking, perhaps the reason they didn't include dual shock controller support is because they plan to release a second model next year. Maybe with a different set of games?
