one of the PRESIDENT RI BJ Habibie invited all the people of Indonesia to join the joint venture funding the manufacture of R80 aircraft. Fundraising is done by the company designer and developer aircraft fly, Regio Aviation Industry through kitabisa.com.

In the explanation, the joint venture to buy this aircraft is not the first time for Indonesia. Acehnese people once donated to buy the Dakota RI-001 aircraft. The plane then became the first transport plane owned by Indonesia.

"If the first joint venture to buy aircraft from abroad, we currently have a joint venture for aircraft made by a child of the country," explained the Regulation of Industrial Aviation.

Peswat R80 itself has been selected as a National Strategic Program. It has been receiving remarks since June 2017
R80 is a pure plane made in Indonesia. Designed by BJ Habibie and sponsored by PT Regio Aviasi Industri. Later this peswat is done by PT Dirgantara Indonesia.

R80 is intended as a regional air transport in Indonesia and abroad.
