window shopping and enjoying it

Even if i retired still i have so many things to attend to. With just me and my husband and sans a house help each day is really a busy day. Domestic front finds me marketing, going to the grocery,drug store,settling bills for our utilities,cleaning and up keeping the house ,tending to my plants and managing our small seaside farm. On the social /community side , as Biennium President of the Zonta Club of Tacloban and as Chairperson of the Tacloban City Council of Women, I attend to meetings, deliver lectures on the Magna Carta of Women ,Violence against Women and Children (VAWC),conducts Gender Sensitivity Trainings and actively campaigns on issues like Preventing Early marriage and teen age Pregnancy.

Evening finds me writing my journal.

and so in times that i really feel burn out ,depressed and wanting to chill and relaxed my mind and body i go malling. The easiest,cheapest means to distress and the cheapest, Since our city became a Highly Urbanized City (HUC) big ,sophisticated malls and department stores mushroomed . Just 5 minutes and a tricycle ride away from my place is Robinson Place one of the biggest mall in the Philippines.

Malling as a a way to relax distress one self has many benefits. For one it gives you the rare chance to see quality items at reasonable prices.It likewise updates you whats trendy and whats not,the latest watering hole in town, the fad sounds and music and movies. I also meet friends and it gives me a time to update as to their whereabouts and mine.

In one of my malling modes I was really astonished to find the places where children play. To be honest it really entertained me. The colors of the rides were so vibrant ..it chaired me up.The planters and the plants are very beautiful and some stores displays some thing that i found are extra ordinary...

So next time you feel exhausted...go malling
