Now Accepting Submissions For The pixEOSrama Canvas!
Many of you have been curious about the highly anticipated pixEOSrama event! We’re excited to announce that we are now accepting submissions from everyone to participate in this collective art experience.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ART
To submit your artwork, please follow the steps below:
Create your art, save it as a .png* file and name it with your EOS address. e.g. if your EOS address is somerandom01, your image file will be somerandom01.png.
Send your .png images to [email protected]** Max: 3 files per person.
Submission time: now until March 15, 2019.
If you want to follow pixEOS on Twitter we are @eos_pix. It's not a requirement for this project, but we appreciate all social media exposure.
*Submissions must be made in .png format. No ZIP, .exe or compressed files will be accepted or opened.
**Files must be no larger than 25 MB.
How to Make PNG Files
A handy tutorial, in case you need it:
Make a design that compliments the pixEOSrama background in photoshop or your favorite graphics editor.
Use a transparent background and have it cut around with no background of its own.
Save it as .png with max 25 MB.

What is pixEOSrama?
As we previously announced, pixEOSrama will be a giant collaborative canvas and you’re invited to participate! It’s easy to submit your art to this collaboration and you don’t have to be an artist in order to contribute; anyone can submit their art! However it’s important to note that, we will decide what art makes it onto the final canvas and we reserve the right to accept or reject any submission.
DETAILS AT A GLANCE:
The canvas created by renowned artist Reinhard Schmid (you can see the orange and purple color scheme in the background of this article’s featured image above) is 8000px by 4500px in size. pixEOS Featured Artists will kick off the canvas, submitting some of their art, and it will be finished by the community. Anyone is welcome to participate, even those who don’t consider themselves artists.
Rules & Guidelines For Art Submission
All art submitted must be original and not copied from another source. NSFW art won’t be accepted. The pixEOS team reserves the right to reject any art that doesn’t meet our community guidelines. We want the collaboration canvas to be engaging for everyone so if your art can be construed as offensive to certain people, this will not be the right place for it.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE CANVAS?
We wanted to create a large-scale collaborative art project that pushes the boundaries of what has been done in the blockchain ecosystem. We want to bring out the creative talent that has been previously hiding in the shadows. We are excited to see the innovative things you will create for this giant collaborative painting.
I SUBMITTED MY ART, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Nothing for a little while. You may receive a reply that we received your art, but you won’t know whether it has been accepted or rejected until the final canvas is released. This will give people a chance to hunt across the canvas to seek out and find their submissions.
The pixEOS Featured Artists will be selecting the art that makes it into the canvas. They may resize, move, and display any elements as they wish. It is important to know that by submitting your art to pixEOSrama you give the Featured Artists permission to resize and/or position it on the canvas.
WHAT SHOULD I CREATE?
Just make something original! We can’t wait to see what the community has to show.
NO COPYRIGHTED WORKS WILL BE ACCEPTED
Make sure and only submit works that are created by you and are original. No copyrighted works will be accepted. No exceptions. If you don't own the rights to the artwork, don't submit it.

By submitting your art to this pixEOSrama canvas, you give permission to pixEOS to share, distribute, and use your art for any marketing purposes or any other purposes that pixEOS decides to do in the future. By participating in this contest, you agree to these terms and conditions. While we will attempt to attribute your work, this may not always happen, especially once your art is in the collaborative canvas. The pixEOSrama collaborative canvas is a community participation project, and there is no monetary compensation involved.
