Alexander McQueen and the Paradox of Pisces Genius

House of Pisces. Alexander McQueen’s vision was complex, otherworldly and defied all boundaries - Pisces by any other name. He reached deep into the history of art and fashion to create futuristic looks and possessed a highly evolved and rebellious sense of shape, texture and line. Many of his creations seemed sea-born, sprung from a dark and boundless dreamworld; others bore the mark of dissolution, isolation and disaster. Perhaps it is only in the tragic light of his death that we can see these dark themes were ones he shared with another suicidal Pisces genius - Kurt Cobain.
