My top 3 posts on @project.hope community (28/04/2021)
Articles curated by @project.hope : my top 3 weekly selection (28/04/2021)
I like the community and as a participant in projects I have given myself the task of weekly starting a selection of the articles that seem most interesting to me and here I bring them to you and present them now.
This is all thanks to the work of @crypto.piotr who has built this beautiful and growing community called @project.hope
We are a group of people who love technology, artificial intelligence, psychology, marketing, finance and areas for which we are passionate that we come together to share and express our ideas through this community.
This time we will talk about taxes, science and biology, I hope you enjoy these complete contents.
So Lets see, here is my top 3 :
1 - Implications of tax auditing in public administration
@dgalan gives us a master class on tax audits in the public administration, offering us an excellent and detailed explanation on a rather difficult subject.
"...In the case of public institutions, fiscal activity is a discipline of utmost importance and has become essential to finance the development of communities in relation to the economic, educational, and social aspects of any country; in this sense, they have been given the task of designing various statutes (ordinances) that help to comply with the established methods, through programs and instruments of collection and control of formal duties of taxpayers, in order to prevent tax evasion and thus raise the levels of collection of public entities to contribute and be part of the public budget. These elements have been elaborated with the purpose of being able to have certainty that the tax procedures are duly presented and regularized, and they are perfectly included in what is known as tax audit. According to Arnau and Arnau (1994), tax audit is defined as "The review and verification of accounting documents carried out by an expert, aimed at verifying whether a certain taxpayer has correctly complied with its tax obligations in a certain period of time, introducing the nuance that the expert does not necessarily have to be a civil servant..."
2 - Ingenuity flies further and higher on Mars
@emiliomoron talk about this magnificent genius, and you will be able to see for the first time recent photographs of a few days ago of the surface of Mars.
"...In this third flight it managed to reach speeds and distances beyond what they had previously demonstrated, even further than the tests performed on Earth. The small helicopter took off from the surface of Mars at 12:33 pm local time on Mars (8:31 GMT) and reached a height of 5 m and a displacement of 50 m, reaching a speed of 2 m per second, so this flight had a duration of 80 seconds. In its second flight the helicopter had already reached this height, but it only made a lateral movement during an exercise that lasted almost 52 seconds. So in this third test they added more challenges with respect to the previous one, in terms of speed and distance traveled..."
3 - Microplastics invade the atmosphere
@lupafilotaxia raises a terrifying and very worrying issue, what the plastic microparticles are doing to us and how worrying and damaging they are to us.
"...Among the highly polluting synthetic substances used in the manufacture and transformation of everyday products are bisphenols, phthalates and, fundamentally, heavy metals, which in essence are extremely dangerous to health, but at the same time represent environmental threats, since products based on these substances disintegrate when they lose their useful life and generate small fragments of microplastics that pollute the air we breathe. In this regard, research published in Nature Geoscience has been warning about the presence of microplastics in the atmosphere, and how they can affect the metabolism of the group of microorganisms that produce part of the oxygen on our planet..."
