PINK FLOYD
I was in my teens when I first listened to Pink Floyd. I took an instant liking to the lyrics. Their songs are often based on distressful and gloomy themes but their lyrics are almost never a direct reference to this gloominess. They are symbolic and metaphorical, full of subtle and subliminal references. The depth and the impact of their lyrics is unparalleled. It stands at the verge of being poetry. This post is not enough to explain their greatness and the impact it had on me while growing up. So I will just leave it at that and with my lil sketch.
