Pika has a taste for flowers
American Cottage, as seen in Tony Leperer's photo, taken in Cananskyis, Alberta, is pushing things into a really fascinating department. Pica (Oktoona Princesps) is a very cute, very small member of the rabbit family who lives in the western United States and the mountains of southwestern Canada. As vegetarians, they especially like grass and wild flowers which grow in their high rocky mountainous ... but since the weather in their mountain cools down in the winter, They have to store them to pass food. This is the reason that they raise extra wild flowers and herbs and expose them to the sun to dry, thus preventing them from taking them during the cold months.
