Goodbye - Song

Friend,
Let us sit down and take a break.
How long have we been together?

It has been hard
All those years
Look at us now

Today is the day
A new episode in our lives
Time to start something new

Don't cry, please don't
I could say you are not abandoned
but...

Well, you know what happens if
Everything ends and it's
Too much

You have seen the papers
Unpaid bills
Calculations and sleepless nights

What do you say?
Speechless
Tired again or in thought?

I listened to your whining
Sobs, barking and moaning
I accepted your mood swings

And you know what?
It's too much
I accepted it for too long.

Your behaviour nerves me
The neighbours complain
It takes something small to make that final call

Did you ever have second thoughts?
About how I feel?
Would you stay if I said I can't stand you?

Sharing a bed with you sucks
You never lay still and
You stink

And because of you
I am always single
Look at the river

Doesn't the water calm your mood?
There's no need to stand up
Don't follow when I leave

This is the final goodbye
Trust me it's better than being left behind
Tied to a tree

I cut the rope and set you free
Sit! Don't follow me.
Goodbye human.

Not my music, but the lyrics are great... ;-))

I had not much opportunity to try it out. Stupid Suno started without me and as I finally figured it out there were 2 options left (well, figuring it out is too much said since I have no idea what type of music to pick or what to expect. It's more like Russian roulette).

If I won't forget I might try it again. What type of music you listen to? I can't make a folklore out of this one.

Thanks for stopping by.

Folk inspired symphonic metal could be a good fit ;-)) Thanks in advance!

I sit down after hours, to read. I always find in your literature (oasis to drink) that freshness. That sound, which sweetens the ear, is melody, is art.
Poetry.

Weisser-Rabe told me of your lyrics and your Suno trial, so I dared to try it on my own because I regard your lyrics as too well done to be ignored.
