resistance of semiconductor

Resistance of semiconductor decreases with increase in temperature. Lattice vibration increases with increase in temperature that increase the temperature. Charge carrier density increases with increase in temperature that decrease the resistance. But effect of lattice vibration on resistance of semiconductor is less than effect of charge carrier density. That is why resistance of semiconductor decrease with increase in temperature.
