023 PHP Operators - Logical Operator
PHP Operators - "Logical Operator"
In this lesson PHP Operators - "Logical Operator", I discussed about "Logical Operators" in PHP with their application and brief
description.
PP provide three Logical Operators:
- Logical AND
- Logical OR
- Logical NOT
The Logical Operators can be used to combine two or more expressions to form one single expression. This helps in shortening the code and acieving conditional comparison in easy manner with the help of Logical Operators.
The Logical AND Operator checks whether its two operands are returning True Truth Value. If Yes, the result will be True otherwise it will be False.
In contrary, Logical AND verifies whether its one or two operands are returning Tru Truth Value. If yes, the result of the expression will be true otherwise it will be false.
The Logical NOT operator is a Unary operator. It can be used with one expression only. The purpose of Logical Not Operator is to negate the Truth Value of the expression. If expression is returning True, it will convert it to False and viceversa.
The Logical Operators are of great importance in all programming languages. Therefore, I have covered them in details with possible explanation and narration. I hope that you will be able to understand them in first go.
