Photomatic Contest - Story to Image – Floods in Ghana
In the way the pictures are taken these pictures aren't pictures I am particularly happy with. However what happened with me in Ghana 3 years ago during some floods is all captured in those 2 pictures. The first picture is taken when the gas station exploded the night before. Over a 100 people died that evening. The second one is a picture around the corner, where a new bridge in construction was completely flooded away by the river. I was just thinking that I was walking over those bridges everyday and I could have been on one of them when this happened.
