Construyendo confianza ante la cámara.

Lo explícito forma parte de este proyecto con una pizca de lujuria.

Al principio suele ser bastante difícil, ya que no todo el mundo se siente cómodo enseñando su intimidad, pero mi deber como fotógrafo siempre es hacer que mis modelos se sientan cómodos para que puedan soltarse frente a la cámara.

Siempre es bueno hacer un ejercicio de confianza para que se relajen y no salgan rígidos, normalmente siempre les hago unas cuantas preguntas para que pueden soltarse.

Si les cuesta mucho soltarse, les hago un segundo ejercicio que trata de contarme 5 cosas que les guste de ellos mismos y 5 cosas que no les guste, y a medida que lo vayan diciendo los voy halagando y contándoles el porqué los escogí como modelos, hasta eliminar por completo sus complejos y puedan desnudarse tranquilos, sentirse sensuales y ser ellos mismos.

At the beginning is usually quite hard posing in front a camera naked, not everyone feel comfortable showing their intimacy, but as my duty as a photographer is to make my models feel relaxed with themselves and with me so the camera could take their whole potential.

“Relax exercises”, that I personally call, are a series of personal questions where the model tries to open him/herself to me sharing their ideas and thoughts.

If this doesn’t work, I do another exercise that involves telling me 5 things they like about themselves and 5 things they don’t, with each thing they don’t like about themselves they take a piece of clothing with it and I start to praise them and telling them why I’ve chosen him/her as one my model for my pictures. The point is eliminating each and one of the complex that make them feel bad about themselves, so they can finally feel they’re sexy or hot, but most important, they can finally be themselves.
