Religious Architecture for Monochrome Monday
Churches and temples as masterpieces of architecture
Steemians, as a European citizen we have a long standing tradition in architecture - since religion was a main driver of development also in architecture I am showing some of the buildings in that area that have been built in black&white. Some of you might know where these churches are based in. Obviously the church as an institution had major power and money being able to create these buildings in the past - they still are very powerful but let us enjoy the beauty of the creations on Monochrome Monday. But I am not only showing you Christian buildings - religion was and still is powerful across various ways to define god and religion, hope you like the visuals that are not intended to tell you which religion is the best for the world and all of us.
Beautiful visuals of these architecturally diverse churches. How appropriate that you posted them on Holy Week, right before Easter!
Wonderful #MonochromeMonday delight!
Upped and Steemed Tip!
I do love churches and the cathedrals in colors but... as I can see they also look so magnificent in black and white . I feel more mistery in them now. Great captured :)
