Hello Steemit! This is my first Photo Journal. I hope you enjoy.

As a Washington resident for all of my life I love to visit the great city of Seattle and my favorite place to be in Seattle is by the water. The smell of the ocean, sounds of the water and the amazing view of the Puget Sound make for a great experience.

Rattlesnake ledge has always been one of my favorite hikes, only 2 miles up and you get one of the most gorgeous views Washington has to offer. Even on a cloudy winter day the view is incredible.

Twin falls is an incredibly scenic hike with some amazing waterfalls. One of my favorite parts of this hike is you don't have to get to the finish line to see the prize. This hike has plenty of waterfalls and flowing rivers all the way up.

One of my favorite road trips had me going through the Oregon Outback which is on the eastern side of Oregon. I frequently pulled over because the scenery was so beautiful and I had to capture the moment. The magic that nature creates is quite fascinating.
