Uluwatu Temple | Bali

Uluwatu Temple, also known as Pura Luhur Uluwatu, is one of six temples believed to be Bali's spiritual pillars. It is known for its incredible location, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 meters above sea level. In my opinion, it is one of the most magical places in Bali. With its incredible views, Balinese architecture, traditionally-designed gateways, and ancient sculptures, it is a sight to be seen.

The entrance fee to the temple was 100k IDR which is about 7 USD and that price includes a Pareo/sarong rental (as you must be modest entering these holy temples). It is definitely one of the top places on the island to go to for sunset, with direct views overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean. We planned on going later on in the day to catch sunset but we ended up going early in the morning to try and beat the crowds.
