Photography Equipment: Tripods

When you’re working with top quality DSLR cameras, it’s just a fact of life that you’re going to need a lot of extra photography equipment to get the most out of your camera. One such piece of a equipment is a camera tripod. Owning a tripod is a great investment, especially if photography is more than just a hobby for you. The tripod will keep your camera steady and prevent any bumps or movements in the shot. No matter how steady you think your hands are, the tripod is always better.

Tripods are also better for long exposure, nature, and low light shots. Naturally stability is the most important aspect to look for when shopping around. Because you want a durable material, you should stay away from plastic and instead, purchase titanium or magnesium alloy. The tripod should not wobble when you apply pressure to the camera.

Check that your camera will properly fit and take into consideration the amount of movement the tripod allows. Some will allow you to pan the area, while others allow complete control. Check the minimum and maximum height adjustments as well. You want to be comfortable when you using it.

Greetings, dear Tanata

I would never use a tripod since I am not a professional photographer. However, a friend of mine has a professional camera and takes these beautiful photos using a tripod. He talks about the difference he makes in the photos. Usually he likes to use them to take pictures of landscapes. When you are taking pictures more closely, people at parties, for example, usually use the camera in the most traditional way.

Thank you and good evening, Tata !!!

I think that the tripod is not needed for fans, it's true. But if you want to capture a particularly important moment for you in difficult shooting conditions, then the tripod will help you to make good shots. When I bought my first semi-professional camera, the tripod was sold as a bundle. Thank you for continuing to read and comment on my blog!

My first semi-professional camera was sold complete with a tripod. It cost me about 10 dollars. It was the simplest version of the tripod, but I still use it because it fulfills its main function - it keeps the camera in my place)
