There is a pair of great horned owls that live near my house. When we sleep with the windows open we hear their loud hooting at dusk. Sometimes we see them when we take a walk around the neighboorhood. Really beautiful, spirit like. They are silent when they fly and its usually dusk or dawn so you kind of see a silhouette. Very awesome.
Owls are creatures of great integrity and also calm, solitary birds. I really love them.
