During a news break in the on-air studio in Oct. 2017, with a Kampala Express camera pointed at her, she observed "You know the most intrusive thing in this world? It is pictures", a diplomatic way of saying "Can you please take that camera off me!"

The Nation Media Group television station with just over one million Facebook followers is in many parts of Uganda the de facto national broadcaster.
