Full Spectrum Photography - Blacklit Raspberry shadows

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

I recently completed some new Full Spectrum Long Exposure Ultraviolet Fluorescence Photography. This photo is of the carpet with the shadow of the Raspberry sprig. The upper right corner has sap that has dripped from cut plants while I take my photos. Well at least thats what I think it is.

This is my entry for #colorchallenge contest hosted by @kalemandra

If you are curious what the sprig looks like that was casting shadows see above. I captured a sample of the berries and the leaf, you can probably now see what the objects are that were casting shadows.

Gotta get some x-ray photos next. :-)

@manorvillemike

So I think that would take some really special equipment. Wavelength wise thats way past Ultraviolet into the really energetic particles.

Though if I keep pursuing Geology, I may buy a mineral reader. Which is basically an xray gun for rocks to see whats inside.

This is beautiful technique of photography...
Awesome..

@tussar11
