Photography or a image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life but I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be an art-form. The beauty and meaning of photograph can be expressed and shared in many ways including "by not using any words".

While I do like photography I used to share images when I could that I captured day to day events, the feedback was mostly positive and I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos.

Almost every picture as a story to tell, or at least that is what I have often been told by some of my regular followers when I first started sharing photos on here.
To those who have often said and expressed that to me I would have to agree with them.

Today 5/1/2023 I share this capture.

Happy New Year everybody sadly Christmas is now over and most people have finished their celebrations and have returned to work.
It wasn't exactly joyful for me when on the very first day of the year they have decided to put up the costs of energy once again.
Honestly it's like they are charging more every 4 months or something it's getting real stupid.

When I got up this morning it was much brighter and mostly sunny, but it's still very cold.
However the sky was slowly turning dark and I was betting later the rain will try and catch me out.
It was tough getting out of bed this morning but there was not a big rush as I didn't have to be in work today, however I was meeting with friends later so couldn't make it too late.

There were a few things I needed to do this morning one of them is of course coming on Steem but when I switched on my laptop there was no internet.
I gave it a while to connect and still nothing so I went to investigate what could be the problem and I found nothing.
So I decided to start getting a few things done for later when I could leave to meet friends and also worked on projects that I could offline.
Luckily soon after that the internet started working so I could get on with the things I needed to do online, I was a little worried as not too long ago I was cut off for nearly 2 just before Christmas was about to begin.

I was able to get a good amount done considering I had a big delay this morning and like I suspected as I left the house to meet friends it was so very slightly raining but it soon stopped.
My friend directed me where to go as we was going to get some food first but the initial place I went to was strangely shut.
With it being closed I suggested we go to the place my friends regularly get's food from as they should be open.
I was correct, we eat and caught up after I started to make my way home which as always is much later than I wanted.

Leaving so late and about to rain I expected it to be quieter out but this was not the case, at least there wasn't any weirdos out tonight.

Anyway as for the picture today I share one of my cat Toffee, well not just Toffee but also Daniel who is the slightly younger brother of Toffee. In this picture they sleep on some pillows more or less close to each other, unfortunately the brothers aren't exactly close.
Well it's more Toffee who would be against Daniel being so close to him I feel like if Toffee wasn't so macho he and his brother Daniel would probably get on fine.
Unfortunately poor Toffee and Daniel are both no longer with us, they died at home with us under the best care and love we could give them. I do hope to find and upload some more photos of them.
For most of the time Toffee would get jealous of any attention given to Daniel but honestly it was poor Daniel who I feel needed the most love.
But of course we try out best to make sure that they all get the same amount of attention for those who want it.
Toffee was a big cat and so mostly a brute to others but later in life he became the gentle giant, even to those who would start to harm him due to he's changed ways he would amazingly no longer fight back and wait for us to deal with the situation. If you look at the top left corner you can see Toffee's raccoon like tail as I like to call it.
