📷 ColorChallenge: TuesdayOrange - The Dancer

in #photography7 years ago

This photo was shot with the legendary Helios 58mm f/2 lens, a little Russian gem known for its swirly bokeh. The effects are less noticeable in this shot, but you can check it out here in one of my old posts: Budget Portrait Lens - The Russian Zenit Helios-44 58mm f/2 [review + original photos].

Can you guess if this shadow was projected onto a wall or the ground?

Great shot and I like the concept!

Thank you Leigh, it was a spur-of-the-moment kinda thing!

Yep it worked :) Lucky you had your white balance out of whack!

Very special and unusual! Up and resteemed of course!

Thank you so much @kalemandra for starting #colorchallenge!

Love the shadow play you captured here!

Cool silhouette shot @shieha my guess is that it's projected on the ground although I think a wall would be much easier. From the markings it makes me think it's the ground. If you like silhouette shots consider checking out my IG project page that's dedicated to silhouettes (https://www.instagram.com/SilhouetteConnect/).

You guessed right @zacherybinx, it was the ground!

Nice shot!

You're welcome!

Think shadow was projected to the ground..great shots indeed

You nailed it @charles1, thank you :)

Great...any reward will be appreciated

Thanks @writemore, but I would suggest not leaving comments like these, it may be seen negatively here on Steemit :)

Really interesting shot! I thought the shadow was taken against a wall..nice use of confusion to engage the eye.
