Ammersee - a try in landscape photography
In my last posts I wrote about my hometown during the weekdays: Herrsching am Ammersee. I showed you picture of cows, horses and mushsrooms. But I realised I never told you about the lake. Ammersee (or Lake Ammer) is the sixth largest lake in Germany and the third largest in Bavaria. The Ammersee is a great place for any kinds of watersports like sailing or kite surfing. Herrsching is on the east shore of the lake, so we can enjoy the sunset everyday (ok not everyday...the weather is a factor).
Since I've come to Lake Ammer I have been working on my landscape photography skills. I'm still not satisfied with most of my shots. I always have difficulties in finding a good composition that's not to boring and tells a little bit of story.
The pictures are from my walks along the lakeside promenade. Please critique my shots and help me getting better in landscape photography.
As always all pictures taken with my Canon 400d and with my favorite lense: the Canon 50mm 1.8. lense.
