on Fulton in Crown Heights Brooklyn,
there is a row of stores that just clean up and refurbish stainless steel restaurant gear.
The after affects of the drugs can still be felt in Greenwich Village, even 50 years later.
You may have noticed this gross mattress
in the background of one of the photos above. Technically, in New York, you are supposed to bag mattresses and upholstered furniture when you throw them out. This is to prevent the spread of bedbugs, which have been a real problem in NY recently.
However, sometimes people just huck them on the sidewalk in an industrial area.
