Photography experience - made crystals tutorial
Home-made crystals in an eggshell and colored with pen ink
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- A container for example a measuring cup
- food coloring
- Liquid adhesive (glue)
- a brush
- Alun powder
Step 1 To prepare your egg
Take your egg and make a small hole in order to empty the inside.
Cut out its egg in two to have two parts and wipe the inside of the shell.
Take the brush and spread glue inside the shell.
Generously pour alum powder on the hull and let dry for several hours so that the powder is well taken by the glue.
Step 2 - Fill the container with hot water and add dye.
Pour boiling hot water into the container (it should be 100 degrees) and pour about thirty drops of food coloring of the color of your choice.
Mix while pouring the equivalent of 3/4 of alum powder and mix to dissolve the powder.
Step 3 - Put the shell in the container
Place the shell on the water and with a spoon push the shell to the bottom of the container and wait a dozen hours.
Step 4 - Remove the shell
Remove the shell gently from the container and let dry three hours
So coooold!
