Picasso at the Vancouver Art Gallery
This photo is from my recent visit to the Picasso exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery. It is called "Tete De Femme au Chapeau" and a masterpiece full of artistic virtuosity. I see Lawrence Paul Yuxweluptun as a modern day Picasso and his (Picasso) influence in the mural building wrap by Andrea Wan for the Vancouver Mural Festival.
We are certainly enjoying enormous wealth of art this summer in the City of Vancouver, Canada.
On the subject of wealth, Picasso's "The Women of Algiers" sold last year (2015) for $179.3 million USD. The seller paid $31.9 million back in 1997.
