How I got 1K Followers a month on Instagram.

Hallo fellow Steemers today I am going to tell you guys how I got over 1k followers a month on Instagram. If you are just starting out on Instagram, posting photos can be pretty depressing. When all your excitement and hard work only pays off by nothing more than few likes and comments from a handful of followers, it’s easy to get discouraged,
These 10 Tips will help you increase your followers and the engagement (likes and comments) on your Instagram page.

  1. Use Hashtags, Instagram lets you use 30 Hashtags on your post. Use hashtags that are popular and well known for your target audience to help increase your following.

  2. Follow and Like hundreds of random pictures from people in your target audience. You need to be careful tho Instagram can give you a ban for following too many people in an hour I would suggest to follow up to only 60 people an hour.

  3. Clean your bio, Make sure you only put down what matters so people can immediately see what your page is about. Include relevant keywords and hashtags and a link back to your website.

  4. Create a branded hashtag. Come up with a hashtag and encourage your followers to use it. This encourages your fans to engage with your brand, and increases your visibility at the same time.

  5. Tell a story. Use your image captions to tell an engaging story. Storytelling helps create an emotional connection to your brand or product, and including a captivating story is much more likely to get your image shared.

  6. Be consistent. Know why you’re posting, and who you’re posting for. Be consistent about how you use the platform and your follower count will grow automatically.

  7. Ask questions in the captions of your photos. This is a great way to increase engagement (likes and comments).

  8. Use apps or websites to track the growth of your account. Find out which are the best times to post or what photo works best with your audience and post them more often. Everyone likes states. ;D

  9. Arrange co-promotions with other users that have the same target audience. Find users who have a similar follower count and arrange for mentions or shout outs to help build each other’s audience.

  10. Remember that quality beats quantity. Edit your account to leave only the best images. No one wants to follow someone with thousands of pointless images of food or other random shots.

Remember that having a large number of followers is useless if you don’t take the time to really engage and interact. And in the end, converting followers to customers is the real goal.
