More and more newspapers and news channels are using photographs to support their news articles and stories. Some people think that photographs are not a reliable source of news while others consider photographs to be irrefutable.

In today's society, media can't manage without photographs. News channels, newspapers or any other mass media are using visual type of information source to support with their articles or video recaps.
Science has told that photo manipulation has more influence to create illusion, vision or information receive than just a plain reading.

Thing is that photographs often can't capture concrete fact and are just used to associate with article topic or its author's profile. Sometimes images can be edited, so they can really separate us from reality. For example North Korea, which use fake photographs in their news services in order to spread propaganda among people.

To conclude, I think that photos in media are inevitable and useful tool to support articles, if image content isn't concrete or fake.
