Assam is a land of natural resources. People here are simple and very close to nature. We have rain almost the whole year!!!

Best place for people like me who love fishing. Water is everywhere mostly in the rice fields where we do agriculture of Rice the main food in our land.

Our day starts with making a group with friends and planning the place where we may get most fish....

We people don't have fancy equipment's like fishing rods or any mechanical things to help us in fishing!! we use whatever is available to us. Assam is rich with bamboo trees so we make our fishing rods with bamboo as you can see the picture above...

We prefer to travel by walking when we do fishing as the nature is so beautiful at the time.. We see different kinds of birds or insects.. wild ducks, kingfishers, dragonflies etc... this time I bought a camera to capture few of the moments so that I can share my experience with my fellow steemians....
