Today I would like to show you a few pictures taken from a snowy walk in Belgium!
One of the things I really enjoy seeing are icicles! The forms and shapes are like art to me. Little gems created by Mother Nature herself!
It has been a while for me to share a photography post and while scaning all the pictures on the laptop I came across photo's taken on a snowy walk in Belgium. In tis post I will only share the pictures of the Icicles and you ill have to stay tuned for the rest of the pictures. Who are, IMHO, really amazing! Is this hat they call a tease moment? (( Snorts)) Anyways, I do hope you enjoy these pictures just as much as I do!
I love how you can see the past in these Icicles! One moment it's freezing cold than the Sun starts to warm up the world, the snow melts but then gets taken again by the cold!
I really see art in these icicles! A short travel of sorts is captured in a frame that will melt away in time never to return in the same shape or form again.

Thank you so much for sharing your pictures poticsnake. I often do the same thing when looking through my shots and know they just have to be shared with others. I live in Canada so the winter are bitter and the snow plenty but like you love icicles are they are mystic. Like snowflakes no two icicle are the small they are unique in their own right. I love when the sun (when it chooses to come out) hits the icicle and forms a prism through the icy form. Again thank you for sharing....appreciate.

Personally, I've not really seen icicles before. but I would still love to share my own experience on natures beauty. I remember while growing up, we would stay out late at night around a plantain plantation and you would get to see plantain trees forming different scary and beautiful images.
and also, when we look into the skies and gaze into the moon, we would imagine a mother holding her baby in the moon. Nature is really beautiful I must say. Thanks @poeticsnake for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your own expierience on Natures beauty! I also like to stare up to the Moon and stars or clouds for that matter! Nature paintings I like to call those moments! And I snap pictures in my mind as much as I can!

Beautiful photos and beautiful the way you describe it. I think I saw it once as it doesn't snow in part of South Africa where I use to live, I only saw thin snow, I think not more than twice. And where I live now, also no snow, just sun, sea and sand! Thank you for sharing.

Wow, a very beautiful sight, I really like the beauty of nature. Because in my opinion, nature can be a faithful friend when we have many problems in this life. I could not agree more with you! Nature brings so much happiness into my soul and heart in a calming and soothing way! When I am stressed or worry too much I always make time to stop and let Nature back into my body!
