The Arabian Jasmine (Jasminum sambac), known for its intoxicating fragrance and delicate white blooms, holds a special place in gardens, rituals, and hearts across many cultures. Native to tropical Asia but cultivated and adored around the world, this beautiful flowering plant is much more than just a feast for the senses it's a symbol of love, purity, and cultural heritage. One of the most distinctive features of Arabian jasmine is its sweet, strong fragrance, especially potent in the evening hours. Its scent has made it a staple in perfumes, teas, and essential oils. In fact, the jasmine used to scent jasmine tea is often Jasminum sambac. The small, star-shaped flowers are typically white but sometimes tinged with pink when in bud. Though modest in size, they bloom profusely and continuously in warm climates, making them a favorite for hedges, trellises, and containers.
