Sunset at the mouth of the Pochote River

_MG_8880.jpg

The photo was taken at Pochote Beach, at the mouth of the river of the same name. It is a place located in the pacific of Costa Rica in the province of Puntarenas. The sunsets during the summer season are simply spectacular and full of color.

Wow, that is like a painting.. so artistic and inviting. The magic of nature is definitely at its peak and I loved how easily it infused its stillness in me..Thanks for sharing and have a great day.

I'm glad you liked it, your words are motivating.

Looks amazing and a great photo. The colors with the water reflection just add to the whole scene. It just looks so peaceful. Thanks for sharing your obvious talent.

thank you. The image I think transmits the same sesation I had when I arrived at that place to make the photo, alone, in peace and full of color.

Is this the first time I see a fotography (photography) post not only be one picture, not only a clear looking but also a highly detailed foto (photo), set completely in a remote place at the sunset time and equally featuring many parts that are naturally harmonic... while also getting that fat @curie upvote?!? Why o why it very much well is and I must congratulate you on that @curie upvote!

Unto the pictura (picture) itself: I like the scenery that we get to revel in and feel like it is a window to climb into so we can live and experience the nature there in the sunset at the mouth of the Pochote River. To hear the crickets sing, the birds a chirping, critters crawling on the branches and the water gushing about constantly. Yet to also see the calm of the night stalking upon the resting star, our Sun, going to sleep to the West as the clouds shield the intensive change of colours. Which only exacerbates the parts we can see of its orange-blue hue with the clouds becoming orange-pinkish. Just beautiful as orange, for me, sticks out way more to green than does pure red; especially when we couple it with the natural scenery here.

El texto (The text): I like the little introduction blurb right after the foto (photo). Gives it a sense of context to know where the foto (photo) was taken and to describe away the beauty we saw from the many parts in the pictura (picture) itself. Other than that, nice on you for listing out your camera specificity and settings that allowed this pictura (picture) to be taken. Also welcome for this comment as I am thankful for this post for being made. (One more thing: good on yah for travelling to Puerto Rico and taking fotos [photos] there, helps demystify parts of the World and gets people to see those parts and to know there is something more than their immediate World.)

So keep on travelling and happy steeming!

wow, thank you very much for your words, it is admirable your ability to describe and immerse yourself in the image, you have made me relive the moment when I did it. Thanks again.

Super, what kind of lens filter did you use?

Hi, thanks for the comment. The equipment used is simple, sigma lens 17-70 mm f.2.8 and a polarized filter. The original RAW was a bit dark, my goal was to rescue details of the sky. Later, in Lightroom I recovered information in the shadows and made color correction.

Yes, RAW and graphics programs save a lot. However, I would like to take such photos directly from the camera. You have to invest in a half gray and all gray filter.

nice photo and the composition is placed in the right place also the placement of the wood also give intention to the meaning of this whole photo.

Thanks for your comment. The place where I made the image is extraordinary, it seemed that everything was ready to arrive and make a great image. regards
