I was reading that if the planet Jupiter were as close to us as the Moon is... it would appear to be approximately the same size as this Sun halo.

apparently Jupiter is is exactly 1/10th the diameter of the Sun... while the earth is just a hair under 1/10th the diameter of Jupiter.
