Even god comes closer towards determined man

Bhisma , a great celibate warrior of ancient India and a hero of 5000 years old Mahabharat Epic made even God(Krishna) to break down his vow of not carrying any weapon and not taking anybody's side during the great battle of Mahabharat.Bhisma was called Devavrata before but, because he was so determined that he would do whatever he speaks ,therefore he was named Bhisma meaning(man taking heavy vow). Also he is callled Bhisma because he accepted life of celibacy(Brahmacharya) for his father's pleasure and not accepted any wife during his lifetime.he also received a boon of self dying(Iccha mrityu) from his father Santanu.One night Duryodhana ,the opponent of virtuous Pandavas came to Bhisma's camp and started complaining to him that he is not fighting aggressively with Pandavas due to his parental affection towards pandavas. This statement aroused his anger so much so that he immediately took a vow to kill all five Pandavas brother within tomorrow by his infallible five arrows. The next day when Arjuna and all other pandavas brother were in very dangerous situation created by Bhisma ,Supreme lord Krishna not caring for his vow took a wheel of a broken chariot and started hurling towards Bhisma.This shows how even god comes forward towards a determined person
