The most stunning Gorge

This is one of the most stunning places that I have had a chance to visit. The Gorner Gauge, it's in Switzerland, it is located at the end of the village of Zermatt. After the Kumbhu glaciers, this is the one place that I admire the most. It's around a half an hour hike from the last bus stop in the village and has specific timing to visit. I had randomly come across this place while I was checking out what all places are there to visit in Zermatt. It's not very popular with tourist unless so you will not find it very commonly found in places to visit in Switzerland.

Hubby is not a very adventurous person, so it was quite an effort to convince him to hike up to this place. After reaching here, he agreed that it was worth the effort. Half an hour is not much, but with his health condition I cannot push him to do things that he is not comfortable with. Yes, but sometimes he over pampers himself and that's when I give him a nudge with being strict on him :-)

Coming to Gorge, one must see to believe the beauty of it. The pictures do give a good view but still the whole experience is worth to go through it in real. It starts very narrow at the beginning and towards the end, there is a beautiful water fall, the water is turquoise blue and the sound from faint to full loud intensity is just amazing to listen to. Once at the end, the sound is high and personally I feel it's the best place to sit and meditate.

This is surely one of those magical places on our planet.

It was an incredible experience visiting this place. I had been here last year, I would love to go here again, not sure if I can or not.
