Phalgam one of the beautiful place of Kashmir.

today I am going share with you, one of the beautiful places of my state (Phalgam),

Phalgam is another popular and most beautiful distination in kashmir. Situation on the bank of river Lidder, at an altitude of 2200 ft from the sea level. It is famous for its scenic beauty and it is the jewal of picturesque, 95 km from the capital (Srinager) and 40 km from my home. It is surrounded by various pine trees and beautiful green mountains full of pine and devdar trees and some peaks of mountains are surrended by snow through out the year. There are many beautiful parks decorated by many beautiful flowers and plants.

Tourist attraction

The natural beauty of Phalgam and natural beauty of Lidder valley attracts the tourists and travellers towards it from different parts of world. Thousands of tourists from different parts of the world are coming annuals to enjoy this beautiful place.

Amernath cave

Phalgam is also famous for its Amernath cave which is pilgrimage for the Hindu religious. This Amernath cave is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord shiva for Hindu people. Thousands of Hindu religious people visit this cave annually. They have to face many hardships to reach and visit this religious cave. This cave is 50 feet long, 55 feet wide and 50 feet height. And is 40 km from phalgam.

Shesh nag

Shesh nag is the beautiful lake 22 km from phelgam. It is surrounded by moutains and it had a very fresh water and its source of water is glaciers. There is the silence and peaceful atmosphere, people mostly like to stay here on this lake because of it silence .

Betab valley

Betab valley is also one of the valley of phalgam which is most beautiful and attrective place. Here you can see beautiful moutains with herds of sheeps. Here you can see beautiful ice glaciers melting into river Ladder.

Conclusion

Inshort, phalgam is one of the best place in Kashmir because of its natural beauty. It is very famous not only in country but also in the world. I like this beautiful place with the core of my heart .
