Counting sticks made of bamboo have been prepared. In our country, at present, these types of sticks are generally used in various schools and colleges where small children go to study.
The main reason behind using counting sticks is that young children usually cannot remember things. To teach them addition, subtraction, or various types of mathematics, many methods need to be adopted. Through such methods, they are taught math using these sticks—like how many sticks are in their hands or through different processes.
That is why these sticks are usually made, and nowadays, in various play schools or nurseries and schools for young children, this method is commonly seen. It is a very important method and a very necessary one.
