What Happened to my Photographs? Gortin Glen Take Two
So I posted on Saturday about a hike in Gortin Glen, County Tyrone. But posting from the mobile, using eSteem, I managed to lose the images. A few of you upvoted the post - many thanks! - but I'm pretty sure you'll have more to enjoy with pics attached.
So here goes. That's wood sorrel in flower. Lovely little woodland edible, tastes of crisp Granny Smith apples.
Gortin is the first of the local forests to have been turned into a forest park. But it's still a working timber operation.
One of the waymarked paths follows Pollan burn up past this waterfall, and on to the shoulder of the mountain.
And spring is slowly unfurling, even here...
If you've enjoyed, feel free to reSteem, and follow for more like this!
The pictures were there at the time I voted. They must have disappeared later in the day.
Great place to spend some time...:-)
