swimming with wale sharks in OSLOB, PHILIPPINES
Breathtaking. I took this picture yesterday when I had the extraordinary chance to swim with these up to 13 meter long creatures. The whale shark is a filter-feeding carpet shark and the largest known extant fish species.
I will create a post about this amazing experience in the following days :)
Atemberaubend.

Love it! But I say hell no when it comes to swimming with such large beasts!
haha yes I was kind of shocked when I saw how huge they are but actually they are harmless. The wale shark is a filter feeder and feeds on plankton including copepods, krill, fish eggs, Christmas Island red crab larvae and small nektonic life, such as small squid or fish - no humans hehe
The thing is I don't even like small fish touching me in the water. LOL Forget about swimming with gentle giants!
Beautiful create, looking forward to your post about the experience!
thank you :)
wow finally you were there!
