in #photography6 years ago
Good day Steemit community, today I come to tell you about my experience on the visit to the National Park los Roques of Venezuelan archipelago. It will be telling this story by parties which are approximately 3 stories and today I will start with the first, start talking a little bit about this beautiful National Park.

This archipelago was appointed a national park in 1972, this consists of 50 Islands with 292 cays. Located in the Caribbean Sea about 130 kilometers from the Venezuelan coasts.

In the year 2016 visit this beautiful paradise next to my spouse for reason to our honeymoon, the funny thing is that we had planned to go to the archipelago since our plan was to go to the Roraima, but for health reasons was suspended the travel.

To go to los Roques start from the city of Puerto la Cruz bus to the city of Caracas and then to the airport of Maiquetia where we awaited our aircraft, it should be noted that it was a package all inclusive which covered airfare , lodging, 3 meals and visits to the keys more near of el Gran Roque only island populated after that in the middle of the 20th century were evicted 8 Islands inhabitants mostly coming from the island of margarita, to be named National Park these inhabitants they were relocated in gran roque.

For the year 2016 year in which we traveled to los roques, the package cost around 745. 000Bs, around 200$ approximately for the date.

In the 19th century there was an agreement between Venezuela and the Netherlands for the extraction of Guano and why a foreign language is assigned to many of the islands of the archipelago termination "qui", which derives from the word in English "Key" which means key in Spanish there come from the names of the keys such as Madrizqui, Francisqui, Crasqui, among others.

Day 1

The trip by air was very pleasant and exciting since first it dealt with a plane for air transportation of model cessna 208b belonging to Conviasa flight hard approximately 40 minutes from takeoff to landing.

The name Tropicana Inn was located about 10 meters of the Galapagos Inn, a posada famous where normally become celebrities and also has a pretty nice nightclub.

On our first day the first thing we did was go to Cayo Madrisqui approximately at 10 in the morning, the Inn staff us prepare a cellar containing the soft drink 1.5lts of water, 2 soft drinks, 4 beers of Tin, 2 lunches and 2 servings of fruit and in the target site were granted us 1 umbrella and 2 chairs. Arriving at the Cayo Madrizqui the first impression was formidable, an unsurpassed beauty where the first thing that happened to us through the mind was moving to Los Roques and live fishing only in order to stay in this paradise for the rest of our lives then when we got out of the boat wasn't very clear sky but a few minutes departed clouds giving way to Sun that tripled the beauty of the landscape, making it more amazing still. There we had great along the coasts of the key until you reach one end where we could access other key called pirate Cay, some fishermen in the area live in the cayo and also has a restaurant where they prepare lobster that unfortunately is It was closed. Already approximately at 5 in the afternoon we sought to return to the gran roque, where we return to the Inn to swim to then explore the main island.

Crossing the Gran roque could observe the large number of Inns that possesses and in turn its restaurants and recreation sites. That night we decided to taste the cuisine of the archipelago at a restaurant called Acuarena where we tasted with an Octopus and a Tartare of tuna, along with some very delicious drinks, was pretty funny by that we didn't know how it was going to be dinner at the Inn so deci We gave before a meal at the restaurant, but arriving at the Inn, call us with a peculiar campaign announcing the time of food, as we sat at the table serve us a very thin tuna steaks as input which were very delicious , then a soup of red snapper and later as a main dish of Tuna Tartare with potato rustic (nothing that envy to the tartar that minutes before we ate at Acuarena), after that huge banquet almost repent after eating at the restaurant Acuarena, the hosts told us that in los roques it is customary to that dinner should be the dishes more important and for this reason are both put in preparing this magnificent dinner.
