Secrets of Phuket. Part 2. Similan Islands

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

Beauty ... impressive boulder, next to which a person seems to be a crumb? You can climb to it by going on the island with a guide. By the way, it's not very easy to climb there. For example, with my height of 193 cm and weight of 113 kg, in one narrow passage between two stones I climbed with great difficulty :)))))) At the top you can admire the beautiful views of the district. The water and sand on the Similans are so wonderful that I have no words to describe them ... The water is really blue and transparent, and the sand is white, almost like flour, soft, pleasant. In Phuket, it's not as cool as here. By the way, on the way to the Similans, we were given a swim in sea near a large sea turtle. Apparently, she was fed up in this place and everyone shows her. She even crashed into me and I have to admit that she is big and extremely heavy))) I did not seem a little!
Upon arrival to the island you will be offered to drink and eat. I immediately noticed the hordes of ants who furiously attacked plates with food and glasses :))) And above, there were such little bears on the trees ...

"During the day they sleep and do not touch anyone," the guide told us :)) Somehow fighting off the ants, we managed to eat and went swimming. The guide added to us that on the island live real lizards, yes-yes, those very huge lizards, whose bite is poisonous, and there are no hospitals on the island. So you should not go deep into the island, away from the tourist routes. All of the above only strengthened my belief that I would not like to be here at night and one day will be enough for me. So it turned out. My friend, after returning from a two-day visit to Similan with an overnight stay, told what had happened to them with his wife. All night the ants climbed into the tent and it was impossible to sleep only because of this. At night, the sounds of bats could be heard on the island. It was cold, according to the sensations of degrees 12-15, but considering that people in only T-shirts and shorts, it was enough to get sick. All the daytime splendor of Similan, such as the heat, the beauty of nature, amazing beaches and beautiful water, all this disappeared, giving way to the complete opposite. When choosing excursions in Phuket, all position the Similans as a place where you have to go for 2 days with 1 night, so you better have a rest there. I can not agree with this at all. But, again, to each his own. There are hardened and accustomed to harsh natural conditions travelers - for them it will do.
The road takes about 2 hours from the hotels in Phuket to the port of Khao Lak. Further, on a high-speed boat to Similan is still about 65 km, that is, another hour and a half. In this regard, this trip has to get up very early. At 4-5 o'clock in the morning, in order to have time to visit there at the best time and return to the hotel in the evening.
I hope you liked this post, friends! I told everyone how it is. I highly recommend taking this tour, but for 1 day. If you were pleased to read and learn something new for yourself, subscribe, put up and repostit :))) This exciting tours of Phuket do not end there!
To be continued…
