Top of the rock - Observation Deck

in #photography7 years ago

One of my most favorite spots in New York is Top of the rock. It's an observation deck located at Rockefeller Center in Midtown - Manhattan. NYC.

While there are many other observation decks around the city. I think this one is stand out the most. Not only because of the location, but also the breathtaking view.

These photos are taken after a storm.

So a travel tips from me if you are visiting New York City for a vacation and would love to take pictures of NYC. This is the best spot for it. You get 360 degrees view of NYC.

Additional tips for photographer:

  1. Bring a small table tripod if you want to take long exposure photos up there. Big tripod is not allowed.
  2. Visit during sunset on a partly cloudy, sunny , clear or right after the storm is the best time.
  3. Since they have scheduling system, try to purchase the ticket earlier and select the desire time. This place gets really crowded.

Now, if you have photos of NYC, share your best shots. :) :) :)
